If it has a screen and a browser, it can be your family board.

The most reliable always-on setup, and an inexpensive Fire HD tablet works great. Install Fully Kiosk Browser, set its start URL to famvale.com/echo, and turn on “Keep screen on.” It never closes the page.

1. Install Fully Kiosk Browser from its official site (the Fire tablet allows apps from unknown sources).
2. Settings → Web Content → Start URL: https://famvale.com/echo
3. Settings → Device Management → Keep screen on: on
4. In Famvale on your phone, open Household → Echo, create a pairing code, and type the six-letter code on the tablet.

Famvale is designed and tested on Echo Show screens. Echo Shows can close the Silk browser after a long idle stretch, often overnight. Reopening it takes two taps, and the screen stays paired.

1. Say “Alexa, open Silk,” then go to famvale.com/echo and add it to Silk favorites.
2. In Famvale on your phone, open Household → Echo, create a pairing code, type the six-letter code on the Echo, then tap Start once.
3. Settings → Device Options: turn off any setting that turns the screen off in a dark room, so it dims instead.
4. If the board is gone in the morning, say “Alexa, open Silk” and tap your Famvale favorite. It stays paired, with no new code needed. If you want a screen that never needs this, use the Fire tablet setup above.

Open famvale.com/echo in Safari or Chrome and choose Add to Home Screen so it opens full screen.

1. iPad: Settings → Display & Brightness → Auto-Lock → Never (while plugged in).
2. Turn on Guided Access (iPad) or Screen pinning (Android) to keep it on Famvale.

Any modern browser works. Open famvale.com/echo full screen (F11) and turn off sleep in your power settings.
